Welcome to the official website for Kenwyn Parish Council

Kenwyn is a civil parish nestled in the Cornish countryside that sits half a mile North of Truro. It is made up of three wards – Gloweth, Threemilestone and Shortlanesend and bounded by six parishes, we’re kept busy with local businesses, colleges and schools, local services, retail parks, churches, and more. The area has seen fast growth over the last decade in the housing, education, and health sectors, so we have plenty of news and local information to share with you across our website.

The parish council owns Shortlanesend Playing Field, Threemilestone Playing Field and Chyvelah Ope play area. In addition it owns Shortlanesend Village Hall which is available for hire.

Watts Nature Reserve in School Hill, Shortlanesend is leased to and managed by the parish council.
